Schraag is a group project for De Koer, a meeting place in the Brugse Poort in Ghent. De Koer is a social and artistic breeding ground where local residents come together for a variety of activities and projects. In the future, De Koer wants to open a café/bar and was therefore looking for a modular piece of furniture or object that can meet all the needs of a café.

We designed a modular element in the shape of a prism. These elements can be connected with metal connectors. Using metal bars that fit into the prisms, levels can be created at different heights.

The more elements are linked together, the more possibilities arise: a bench, a table, a bar, a stage, a picnic table, etc. After use, the modules can always be disconnected and reused for a new arrangement.
